- Course Description:
This course provides students with a general introduction, morphological and histological structure of fungi, fungal growth and nutrition. It also classifies fungi into groups. In addition, it includes the importance of fungi.
- Course Main Objective:
- To describe fungi from a morphological, structural and fungal growth and nutrition.
- To explain different divisions; Myxomycetes, Mastigomycetes, Zygomycetes, Ascomycetes, Deuteromycetes and Basidiomycetes.
- To illustrate biological activities and Economical importance of Fungi.
