  • Course Description:

Introduction to microbial ecology defining the scope of Microbial Ecology, historical overview. Measurement of numbers, biomass and activities in microbial ecosystems. Microorganisms in their natural habitats: air, water and soil microbiology. Interactions among the microbial population, interactions between Micro-organisms and plants. Microbial interactions with animals.

  • Course Main Objective:
  1. To study Microorganisms in their natural habitats: air, water and soil.
  2.  To describe interrelationships among microorganisms; positive or negative relations
  3. To study the impact of environmental conditions on the spread of microbes in the environment. the importance of new developments and applications in Cell Biology Study.
