- Course Description:
Introduction to microbial ecology defining the scope of Microbial Ecology, historical overview. Measurement of numbers, biomass and activities in microbial ecosystems. Microorganisms in their natural habitats: air, water and soil microbiology. Interactions among the microbial population, interactions between Micro-organisms and plants. Microbial interactions with animals.
- Course Main Objective:
- To study Microorganisms in their natural habitats: air, water and soil.
- To describe interrelationships among microorganisms; positive or negative relations
- To study the impact of environmental conditions on the spread of microbes in the environment. the importance of new developments and applications in Cell Biology Study.
