  • Course Description:

This course is aimed to provide students with a comprehensive exposure to internal plant biochemical processes that enable their understanding of the functions and physiological mechanisms in the plant.

  • Course Main Objective:

The student will achieve competency concerning the following aspects of plant physiological processes:

    1. Water and solutes movement within the plant
    2. The enzymes biochemistry
    3.  The photosynthetic process and carbon assimilation
    4.  The plant cellular respiration
    5.  The environmental impact on plant biochemical processes 6. Nitrogen assimilation
