  • Course Description:

    The course aims to provide students with basic principles of common insects of economic and medical importance in the local environment, diseases and damages they can inflict. Other topics include pest control as well as beneficial insects and making use of them.

     

  • Course Main Objective:
  1. To classify economic and medical insects and their characteristics.
  2.  To understand important methods of pest control and making use of beneficial insects
  3.  To use different laboratory techniques for classification.
  4.  To compare and understand the different structure and function of animals in many fields of Zoology
