• Course Description:

  This course is designed to equip students with an understanding of the major aspects of the anatomy of the vertebrates, including basic comparative anatomy.

   

• Course Main Objective:

1. To define the scientific terminology used in the context of vertebrate anatomy.
2.  To identify the anatomical characteristics that distinguish vertebrate from invertebrate systems.
3.  To explain the evolutionary basis of morphological differences and similarities among vertebrate taxa.
4. To be familiar with new developments in the field of comparative vertebrate anatomy.
