- Course Description:
This course provides an introduction to issues related to environmental pollution, with emphasis on causes, pathways, risks, mitigation and prevention. This included the study of Nature, sources and types of pollutants. Physical and chemical transformation of major pollutants. Impacts of air, water and soil pollution on the environment. Effects of pollution on plants and animal functions and agricultural structures are also tackled along with pollution control strategies.
- Course Main Objective:
- To emphasize the major issues of environmental pollution causes, effects and risks
- To discuss ways of controlling pollution
